Calm down and someone will help sooner or later.

I never heard of a leo twitching because it was eating calcium I've heard of them twitching and shaking because they have MBD because they weren't given any supplements.

What kind of Calcium are you using?

And can you give us a run down of your tank? (size, temps, substrate, etc) Pictures would be great?

This sounds really strange. Is this gecko eating the same calcium that the other one ate, the one that died? If so, I would stop giving it that calcium immediately. Who knows, maybe some sicko took it off the shelf and put something bad in there, or it was contaminated at the factory.

I know that sounds incredibly paranoid, but the twitching and dying is most suspicious. Get some different calcium, from a different store, or order it online. I like the Zoo Med "Repti Calcium" the best because it has no impurities and no smell.

Other than that I don't know what to say. I've never heard of this problem.

Seriously, do you have any sadistic friends or relatives? This just doesn't seem logical unless that calcium has something toxic in it.

sounds like time to see the vet. even if you don't have a reptile vet nearby, any vet is better than no vet. :|

best of luck with your gecko.

I've never seen twitching with MBD. A serious case of MBD is easy to identify, the gecko will have bent rear and fore legs, and will not be able to move properly. Plus if you regularly dust the food, it should be getting plenty of calcium. What are you feeding, mealworms, crickets?

You can help geckos with MBD (if it has MBD) by supplementing with Calcium, Calcium D3 and MultiVitamins.

I honestly don't know whats wrong with your gecko. I never heard of leos twitching with Calcium was around.

What kind of calcium/supplements are you using or were using?
