What do the hatchlings eat? Do you open the eggsacs?

They don't eat at this stage. I do open the eggsacs as I like to record the development and compare it between the species. They'll molt twice and after that second molt they'll be ready to eat.

How do you house all of them?

Most of the spiderlings are kept in groups. I don't lose many to cannibalism provided I feed them well. My breeders are all housed in individual plastic totes and kept on one of the many shelves in our spider room.

So, what do you feed them after 2 molts?Small crickets?

Pinhead crickets could work fine, but I don't like spending extra money so I raise a few (9) types of roaches. The newborn (or newly hatched depending on species) roaches work perfectly for baby spider food.
