I was wondering if anybody could post some pics of thier pdf tanks anf some care sheets, if they know of any good ones. Im just trying to get some ideas of what frog i want to get im debating between pdf's and whites tree frogs.
i have had dart frogs for years and with time and dedication they are easy to care for. Yes you have to culture fruit flies to feed them but with practice its very easy i recommend culturing them before buying frogs. check out josh frogs.com and black jungle.com the are great resources. i wont lie they are harder than any leo to care for but are well worth the effort. The best part is the tank with the living plants and water features i would be happy to awnser any questions for any one considering pdfs
What kind of information are you looking for? Could you be a bit more specific?
I currently have a group of Dendrobates leucomelas (same species in the picture above) and find them very easy to care for. Aside from monitoring temps and humidity, all i have to do is mist and feed them. Culturing flies can be a bit tricky, but you'll get the hang of it. If you live in a warm region, you might have trouble keeping the tank cool. Feel free to ask me for help on the subject of dart frogs. I'd definitly take them ver a whites treefrog.
