My little guys has done so twice, first time I wasn't really paying attention but the second time I got him back in his tank.

It's funny because I noticed when I first got him he will lay on his belly and lift his back legs a little when he poops, he has done that for as long as I've had him so thankfully I know what to look for. XD

He's super picky and won't get on my hand willingly unless I feed him first, he'll nip at me if I lay my hand in his tank without feeding him first lol.

I put never, but not because of the reasons you put. She doesn't poop outside of her tank because I'm careful or I never take them out, she just doesn't poop outside of her tank, lol.

My leo is a tail waver.. She doesn't lift her legs, but she sticks her tail straight up in the air and waves it around while she's pooing.. Then when she's done, she'll stalk off, tail still waving. LOL

Out of 6 leopard geckos, I've only had one poop while outside of the cage. Just a fiesty juvenile that thought that she could poop on me in order for me to put her down....didn't work. She's also one who thinks that she could bite and clamp down...also doesn't work. Whenever she calms down, I'll then put her back in her cage as a reward.

Hahaha! I've seen Striker vibrate her tail when she poops. It continues to vibrate for a little bit after she's done.

Speaking of pooping Striker has yet to poop outside of her cage. :)

I have a female that only seen poo once and just yesterday I was having her walk around on my lap and I put my hand down right into her poo. Its like she didn't even try; it happened so fast. I was just watching her and I looked up for a second then boom. Poop.

Mine doesn't poop very often, and she's already picked out a spot to do so. I guess I've been fortunate, but then again I don't keep her out of her cage very long. Usually just long enough to get in there, clean things a bit, then it's back in. I've only had her for three weeks, so I'm still working on getting her more accustomed to handling.
