Pooping problem :(

Well Yoshi is about 1 year 1 month old and when i first got him he would always poop in the same corner. Over the past few months his corner has migrated to his cool hide.

A week ago i got a baby in a new tank and she is doing the same trick, only using the cool and warm hides as a toilet.

Its not the worst problem in the world having to clean them every day but coconut hides arent the best things to clean poop off and id rather they just picked a corner.

Is there any good way to try and "train" them to poop in a certain place?

Ive read before about leaving poop in the desired place for a few days but i dont like the idea of leaving poop in the tank for days :(

put some toilet paper where they usually poop. Then do the same thing you'd do to train a dog--slowly move the paper to the "right" place. Eventually they'll poop there without the paper (though its just easier for cleanup to leave it in there lol)

Just collect the poops and put them in your desire corner. Even if you don't want to leave poops in their tanks for days, but this is the only way to change their toilet spot. After you have piled several lots of poop in one corner, you can take away the hide that they're used to poop in/on. Take that away for at least 3-4 weeks, so they can get use to their new toilet spot. Don't forget to soak and wash the old hide EXTREMELY WELL before you put that back in.
