Poor Euphrades.......

I was feeding Euphrades waxworms, and taking a movie. I accidentally dropped a worm on the roof of her humid hide, and.....well, you'll see her readtion. Srry about the quality of the video, but it was the best I got. And don't worry, she got the waxie at the end .

Hey, I gave it to her, I just thought it was so adorable cuz she is freakin' addicted to those things! She has actually BIT me trying to get the worm and missing it, hitting my fingers. My pinki once too! lol

LOL that is very cute :sweetheart: Ours do similar things, some of them have hideboxes that are clear, and when we put crickets in, they stay inside of the hidebox and try to catch them I usually have to take them out of the hidebox completely, or else they'd continue to do it all day lol

Thanks! Yes, Euphrades is phsycho about her waxies and she will do anything to get them! Its crazy . She has bit me several times before, most trying to get the worm, missing, and biting my finger. 2 times it was my fault cuz I accidentally dropped the worm . Well, here is a waxie story of mine from another thread:

Well, my 2 adult leos were being hand fed waxies by me. I had a waxie dangling from my fingers in front of Tigris, and Euphrades was standing next to her. Tigris saw the waxie, grabbed it, and started eating it. Euphrades saw about this much l--l tail sticking out of Tigris's mouth and grabbed it. They played 2 second tug-a-war with the worm. Euphrades ended up yanking it out of Tigris's mouth, and swallowed it. After that, I tried to feed Tigris another one, and she was about to lunge at it. Euphrades also saw the worm, and when Tigris lunged, Euphrades pushed in front of her and gobbled the waxie down before Tigris could grab it. After that I had to put Euphrades across to the OTHER side of the tank so I could give Tigris 2 waxies to make up for the ones Euphrades stole. I just wanted to share my funny high-light of the day .
