Possible Eye Infection??

We don't have a vet here that deals with leopard geckos so I need some help.

Dora's one eye doesn't look right. It's almost milky, you can barely see the pupil, and it's watery. The other eye is fine. She doesn't seem to be in any pain, she is eating fine, hasn't lost any weight. She shed about a week ago and I noticed it about two days ago and have been keeping an eye but there has been no change.

What could this be? Is there something I can do? I have zero vet access so any help would be great.

I should also state that she is on repticarpet and slate, her heat is fine....I use a small UTH as well as a heat lamp. Her appetite has decreased but it is winter and cooler in my house. We plan on relocating her to a warmer part of the house this weekend. I read it could be skin but there is no way she would let me get near her head with tweezers. I also read to get some saline drops and try that so tomorrow I will get some drops. And turtle eye drops? Is that really a good option? I'm very worried, would love some help and personal experience. Thanks!

Check out Gecko Time's article about eye problems in leopard geckos: http://www.geckotime.com/eyelid-dysecdysis-in-leopard-geckos/

You could try washing it gently with warm water or saline. If there's stuck shed or something else in there it will need to be removed. You could try wrapping her in a towel or your shirt and holding her head and using tweezers. See if you can look at her eye with a magnifying glass to see what's there.

I went and talked to a local breeder and he said polysporin eye drops and then gently swipe with a q tip. Do it once a day and if no improvement in a week to get back to him so thats what we are going try.

well it's been four days with the polysporin with only a very small increase in eye health. I plan on going back to see the breeder this Saturday as it will have been one week with it then. She has gotten startlingly skinny so we are trying to feed her but I'm not sure what to feed her. Right now I'm trying plain chicken baby food. Because that's what some of the research I did said.
