I really want a leo, especially since I've managed to raise a nice healthy beardie. So I've been thinking about how to setup a tank.

Here's my plan

A 15g or larger tank
appropriate size uth ( 30% of floorspace correct?)
Screen top
natural lighting
ceramic tile bottom
1 moist hide and other dry hides
3 dishes ( water, food, and ca powder)
climbing branches, stones, etc.

Will this do? Also how much extra space does each gecko need. i'm thinking of getting a bigger tank, because I'll probably end up with more than one ( females of course.)

That sounds fine to me! You're right, you'll end up with more geckos in no time! :)

p.s. I started off with 2 leos, then suddenly 2 months later, I realised I had 5...! lol

The only thing to worry about is the climbing stuff. Leos do like to climb; contrary to popular belief, but they still aren't the best at it. Just be careful that he can't climb to a high branch and fall. Beyond that, it seems like you have all your ducks in a row; good luck!!

Everything sounds like it will make a really nice leo home. As chaosapiant stated, If you put stuff for your leo to climb in your tank, make it in smooth shallow inclines, and keep it close to the ground, I keep rocks in my leo tank and while my current one doesn't climb, my late leo did, I made sure nothing was more than 2-3 inches off the ground level. good luck!
