This little dark beauty is probably my last Blizzard of the '07 season (1 het x het clutch left)...
With Jungle MS het Blizz Clutch mate...
The angle makes their heads look funky, but they're totally not Franken-geckos...
It was very fun hatching something other than Macks and Bells... I'm looking forward to what '08 brings!
This is my best BSB project baby so far...
At three weeks he's already showing lots of great BSB traits and is bringing a couple new things to the table (bold head spots, nose spot, tangy highlights & kinda pied front legs)...
It's a shame the fine speckling usually balloons out into bold spots... The new goals for this project are to produce high color/high contrast Bells peppered with speckling on every tubercle... I'd also like to increase the tang and reduce leg coloration (white feet is already a trait and now with this one's pied legs I can see this become reality within a few generations)... If this turns out to be male I'll be breeding him to my speckled SS 66% het Blizzard (has white feet too and I hear that's a het marker
)... Hopefully her speckled "genes" will be passed on to her offspring... If that works out I'll throw those babies with the nicest Tang Jungle Bell I can find...
This is going to be a "back burner" project now, but I'll still post like a jagillion threads about it! LMAO! :main_thumbsup:
