post shed colors!

dont you just love what every new shed brings out in your leo. over the last few sheds of mine, his tail has become more orange on top aswell as more black towards the tip and middle. when he shed this morning, the orange on his tail turned a very dark almost red in hue color. its just kinda cool how much they change.

Mine has been shedding about every 3 weeks. It's been 3 weeks and she has that pale whitest look. I just don't know how many days it's like that before the shed?

Yes..... I love the look of a fresh shed. Especially as they are getting older and changing! Quite amazing!

Miss C is in the middle of her shed right now. Everything is white except her head. So in a few hours..... or by morning she should be done.

One question? Should I feed her tonight or just let her finish shedding?

It never hurts to offer. I have some that won't even look at food during a shed and others who will eat like they are starving. Just try.

I have one each. Sela only ever sheds at night. I have never witnessed it. Lola, on the other hand, sheds during the day, and will even crawl into my hand during a shed - using my own skin to help rub hers off.

I do agree about the color changes though. Lola was very spotted on her back when I first got her. Each shed has removed spots and she is beginning to look like solid yellow along her back. It's quite awesome!

Bella our new Bell Albino is about to shed for the first time since we have had her. I will Post a pic when she has sheds. Kinda cool both shedding with in days of each other.

ahhh you are all making me jealous i have never even seen the start of a shed yet, i havent even seen them go white!!! maybe i will have more luck when i get my AFT on tuesday
