Oh... she looks oozy... :(
Think she'll recover alright, Steve?
Keeping my fingers crossed.

Check out these comparison photos of one part of her.

I stopped the betadine baths.
She is getting SSD applied and rubbed into the affected sections and she was given several doses of flagyl.

I didn't know you could use SSD on scale rot. (I know it works fantastic on burns) Very good to know!
So it will probably take atleast one more shed to get her through this, won't it?

It's used to speed healing since these are open wounds.
Neosporin would work but petroleum based products tend to cause single scales to start dropping off snakes (found that the hard way out with this girl).
Most likely one more shed and she will be cleared up.
I am going to extend her stay in QT though until at least Oct/Nov instead of taking her out in June to make sure nothing is still hanging around that could affect my collection.

Dude, I hate to say it but if you keep it up with this vet, things are going to get worse... The doses of flagyl is useless for scale rot... The burn cream will just hold moisture in the infected area... Trust me, your vet is not helping matters...

Try this stuff...

Give her one soak a day for about a half hour with this mixed in the water... 1/2 cap per gallon....

Keep her super dry... Absorbent paper towels would be best...
