Faraz shedding last night

Does he actually play with that ball?? That'd be so cute if he did! I have several of those for my cat and parrot to play with but I never thought the leos might like to have one too lol.

I have wiffle balls in all the enclosures.

Faraz will occasionally move it when there is no need to, but mostly it's in there to provide enrichment.
I'm a parrot behaviorist and one of the most important things for parrots is environmental enrichment. So when I got the geckos it seemed logical to do the same with them.
The wiffle ball provides something in the environment for them to move out of the way. It rolls in different ways so it's always something different.
I have put it in their mealie bowl and they will either hunt around it or move it out of the way.
There is a bird toy from Starbird called the holey kamoley which is made out of a coconut which I sometimes include in the cage. It's large and they will climb over it and hide in it

I'm always looking for things when I am out and about shopping in different stores for things that will provide enrichment for my parrots and my geckos

I can't find the best pic of our boy Rupert's shed day. It shows off his now non existent full tail. He lost some of it to what seemed to be an infection. Still I like it
