Pre-mature hatchling?

Hey guys, my first egg from my second clutch this year came out of his egg last night but he was still absorbing the egg for a few hours then disconnected himself from the egg. The problem that has occurred is there still feels like a good amount of liquid in the egg and he seems to have a stomach that looks almost sucked in, like he didn't finish absorbing all the egg. Should I try offering him food? Is there anything I can do to help him, or has anyone have this happen to them?

Give the gecko a few days until it sheds and then offer food. It's happened to me before. Some of them did very well and some didn't thrive and didn't make it.

Gotcha will do. From my understanding it takes about 10 days for hatchling to shed can it happen way before? My other clutched pooped after like 4 days I was assuming they poop after they eat their shed?
