my female has dug he nest for her to lay her eggs she seems like she is ready to lay buts hast yet was wondering how long it takes her to lay her eggs coz she seems bit uncomfortable and looking bit sorry for her self wondering if ne one can help

I would say it could happen soon if she's digging. You can never know exactly when they are going to go into labor just like with any other animal, we can only keep an eye on them for signs.

Digging can be totally normal. (We have a female who digs and sits like she's ready to lay even when she's not ovulating.) Looking uncomfortable is not normal though. If you're worried that she's having a hard time you can start giving her warm water soaks several times a day. Just make sure the water is lukewarm to the touch, around 90F (cooler than our body temp).

r rite kl thanks for the advice she is not looking to bad at the mo now it is her first ever set off eggs she is only bout 11 months old so she prob dont really no whats going on lol but i will try the warm water thing if she stays in the bowl lol. but if you look at her she it looks like she has 2 lumps either side of her like the eggs r going from side to side not from head to tail if that makes sense can the eggs grow the wrong way?
