pregnant?

i have a female that i saw actually mate with my male about a week or so ago and she has recently been digging i looked at her belly and i dont see eggs however i see a small white circle on the left side if you were looking up at the belly. I dont know if this is a forming egg or what any thoughts?

do you think i should put her back with the male to be certain it happens?

She may be gravid, but it can take a minimum of 2 weeks before she would be ready to lay eggs. What you see could be a developing egg, or a large egg follicle.

If you actually witnessed the coplulation, then she is most likely gravid in the early stages. You could put them back together and repeat the breeding if you want to. If she is not receptive to the male, she's probably gravid.
