So, I didn't think my leos were going to do anything for me this year. I mean the female's standard (I've been told different things, but I figure it's safe to say she is) and my male's a chocolate albino. Banon's produced some cuties. I've kept one of them, who, again to my surprise, laid some eggs a few weeks back but were both unfertile. I noticed that Banon didn't eat tonight, so when I picked her up saw two HUGE pink spots. Can't wait till she lays! I'll post pictures of her. Maybe you guys can tell me for sure what she is... But brief description- yellow with brown and lavender spots... That probably not good enough but yea... I'll get updated pictures up soon.

I'm NO EXPERT in this but it looks like that is a stripe on the back.

I would say she is a high yellow, but I agree with Brian about the stripe.

I would say normal. Yeah, there's a space without spots going down her back, but that's just because there's a predisposition in leopard geckos to have the spine area without pattern (not always, though). I would ask for a broader line before calling that a stripe.

Even so, it wouldn't be considered a stripe strictly speaking, because her tail is normal. It would be a partial stripe or aberrant.

Anyway, she's pretty. I love the yellow tail (the dawn of the lemon tail? lol!).

ha... thanks guys... yea i've always noticed the somewhat strip going on. but just always assumed nothing other than normal because it's not really a defined stripe.
