Hey guys - I'll be going to a rep show this coming Saturday, and was wondering the general prices I should expect on leos. Please tell me some common prices, males, females, juvies, etc.

Thank you so much.

Would it be possible for you to tell me some of the commonly seen morphs & their prices? I know nothing about morphs -

Thanks!

There's a poll on favorite morphs, you can see most of the morphs on there. Price ranges at shows are pretty much $15-$2000 & pretty much everywhere in between. Most of the good ones are $50-$500.

Really! Please stop the caps! They are not normals, they are trempers and some of the more common cheaper strains. Dont buy them because they are cheap. I am asking again, please stop the caps.

If you go to shows, some people have normals for 10 bucks on the last day. They are usually just babies though. We bought our high yellow female for 25, so that's not bad either. :) But you shouldn't buy the cheap ones just because they're cheap. Pick out ones you like, and save the money to get them.

It just depends on who is selling them

The more available morphs-usually the males and females are priced about the same

The higher end morphs-it depends on who has what and what they are willing to let go of

If you go to a show near the end of it and you are lucky to find what you are looking for-then you can get a "deal"
If you go at the very start of the show-prices might not be negotiated

Not everyone works that way-some people will discount for multiple purchases but it makes sense not to drop the price on your geckos when you have a crowd at your table looking at them-lol

I have always been able to find fantastic deals on beautiful geckos

Gecko people are GREAT !!

The list that was already posted pretty much summed up most of the now commonly available morphs pricing

I hope that this has helped you out a bit

You are very welcome
Unfortunately I do not drive and I am about 90 miles south of Chicago right now so that would be a long drive for my bf to take me and he is not "into reptiles"
I am lucky that he takes me to Tinley

It's probably a good thing that I do not drive as I have managed to accumulate over 40 Leos and various other reptiles just from mainly buying online

LOL

Ah, gotcha. I totally understand. It would probably be for the better that I didn't drive, too. However, i'm new to reptiles.

Thank you again for your help.

I don't know if you are looking for pets or what, but usually there are people looking to retire breeders or find homes for guys with tail-kinks, etc. and then you can get an older gecko for very little money. I was tempted at the last show I went to by a cute little gecko with a tail kink and a couple older gals... but I have enough disabled pets already. :D
