WWoooohhhh

W&Y x SMS gives SMS normally not the baby should be MS but not SMS?

Thought it was a CALICO like strange output if your baby or W&Y is SHT MS ?

I had thought it was possible the parents of Calico was all W&Y X HY but it is not easy to say that the HY are Mack Snow because it was all adults:

Do you think mainstream W&Y added a codominant MS a chance on 4 out of CALICO?

W&Y is a hypomelanistic breed developed in Belarus some time ago. The geckos scattered among european breeders, some died and only about 2 years ago some breeders decided to collect the remaining and start breeding projects.
In short, what I know: the phenotype resembles that of some of the enigmas, especially tail looks like in enigmas. They usually have stripe on their backs and paradox spots, the colour is as name says yellow with some faded areas.
The genetics are not clear but some dominant traits can be involved as you can get at least some W&Y in F1. Siblings also look a little different than normally. I don't breed them so I don't know more about genetics. Konrad or Henrik and Lotta can tell you more...
sopme photos can be found on Konrads' site:

In fact it can be a real morph maker as we can see from MSSxw&Y crossing... I wonder if this is the same as with linebred snows- they can produce MSS too: I mean W&Y was developed by line breeding, it could be a breed bearing some snowish-gene in it and something dominant that triggers the phenotype...
