the market is flooded enough with other mutts. you have the right of free-will. IMO cull all inferior animals.

Can anyone besides Thor decipher this stuff? It's not only hard to read, but it's straight up lazy and rude as well. You need to start typing full, english sentences panthergecko. It's ridiculous. I hope nobody responds to this garbage until panther starts typing full sentences. That includes you Thor! :main_thumbsup:

I don't care if it's a pet only deal. Cull, kill, destroy. Cut it's head off, put it in the microwave, feed it to your monitor. Just not in that order, I mean one or the other, to clarify.

the pet only applies to me
and i will not breed the inferior geckos
and they will stay with me forever

i read on leopard gecko care a lot but not breeding
i don't want to breed until 2 years

WOW. Chill out guys. There's a lot of members here who do not speak English and use translator programs. Let's not purposely offend people for things that may bother us. If you don't like the way a post is written, don't respond. some people dont use any punctuation or capital letters and go on and on and on with an entire paragraph asking half a dozen questions and you dont know when one stops and a new one starts and i find that annoying so i dont respond but i would not be so rude as to belittle them for their ways of communicating i simply choose not to get involved

We usually don't know who's on the other side of the screen, or their situation. Get my drift?

I apologize for my comment. I did not mean to offend anyone. Too much sauce on my end. It is just my opinion that double het albinos should be destroyed. it will just look normal. So why not just get a normal that is single het albino? I just don't understand.

Not to single you out, but you just illustrated one of the biggest problems I see in the herp hobbies*. The reason for doing or not doing any particular action should be based on thorough research, understanding, and critical thought, not just based on a statement from someone who is perceived to be an authority on the subject. I couldn't even begin to count the number of times I have seen terrible advice come from a self-proclaimed "guru" or "expert" and it is typically taken to heart without a moment's thought from so many who don't educate themselves enough to know better.

*Yes, I just did a Seamus asterisk™. This problem actually extends far beyond the herp hobby and into many daily activities...

i don't plan on breeding now, i am going to start getting more over the next 2 years and then take it from there.
also i plan on having 3 roach colonies by then to have small feeders
by 2012 should have 15 geckos
2.5 leopard geckos
1.4 pictus
1.2 crested

Why not just start out with one species, learn EVERYTHING about it THEN affter you know that one getinto another species... sounds like you're trying to bite off more than you can chew at one time.
