Processing crickets

Hi Guys,

First off all a warm hello from Slovakia Im new here.

Now to get to the point.

Im keeping 3 female geckos where one has been quite strange sice i got it (1 year ago)

I use supplement powder (no gut loading) and she never liked powder coated cricklets that much.

Now she is starting to have problems (not enought calcium) so im feeding her, but its quite time consuming finding the correct size cricklets, gutfeeding them, coating them in the poweder and then force feeding her.

I was wondering if anyone has a idea how to process (mush) the cricklets so that i could use a syringe (without needle) to feed her like that.

No gutfeeding would be required as i could add the powder to the "mix"

You can certainly make a slurry out of insects and supplements. Here's a common recipe used for sick geckos:

If she's having problems eating, you may want to look into testing for parasites. She may need medication.
