PROGRESS!

ive been putting my hand flat in the viv for about 3 days now for about 5mins a time

but today, my very shy leo actually came out his hide an he licked the end of my finger now i no this is how they taste, but does that meen hes starting to trust my hand?

as soon as he licked my hand he went back into his warm hide, i wish i could of left my hand in there longer but i was starting to get pins an needles in my hand

i might try putting some calcium dust on the end of my fingers so if he comes out to lick them again they will taste nice an it hopefully might get him to come out more if he knows hes gettin a nice tasting treat

exactly a sign of them being comfortable. Mine went from a lick. To a paw and hiding. Then a body on a hand. And then a scitter up the arm to the shoulder. Then up the neck to the head

and it just gets better

i just changed the paper towel in the moist hide an noticed he had started using it as his poop place as well...grrrrr......

so i was putting all the hides back in the viv an i noticed he had his head popped out his warm hide watching me, so i placed my hand in the viv for a good 15mins an he came out an licked my finger again an then i held it there an he soon came out the warm hide an walked over my hand to get to his fresh moist hide

it sounds like hes scratching the cardboard in there :s but ive put a plastic box in there to stop the cardboard getting soggy, i wonder what hes up to, i wish i could see

hes still curious of me, he took things really slow

when he trusts my hand should i slowly lift my hand out the viv with him still on it? because i would think this would scare them a bit? or will he climb up my arm? but i wear tshirts so i dont think he could climb up my arm

i would.
and trust me he can. they have nails like cats...you feel them in you, it doesnt hurt...but it feels funny.
when i first lifted mine up high he ran up to my shoulder cause he felt more protected.
Just keep watching him if he runs around. Cause he might want to escape.

yeee he would suddenly dart for the edge of my bed an i would have to put my hand quickly in the way then my hand would scare him an he would dart the other way
