Hi,
I am trying to plan my project. I want to breed lavender stripe leo's and im wondering if i add a tremper into the project if it would enhance the lavender color or mess up the project? any suggestions would help greatly on how to go about this project. this will be my first time breeding leo's.
Thank You,
Melinda

Because lavender stripe is polygenic, you would need to carefully select Trempers that have more lavender and, preferably, are also striped. If you could not get a lavender stripe Tremper, you would end up with a mixed bag of babies as far as patterning goes.

I've read that striping can skip a generation, so you should be able to breed the best of the babies, all het for Tremper, together and try for better striping.

Just think of it as though you are diluting the stripe every time you breed to a non-striped gecko. Maybe a breeder who already works with stripes can add more details and tips.

thank you for the advice :) It doesn't have be lavender stripe but as long as it keeps the lavender coloring into adulthood. I have kinda a secret project that has to do with the lavender color i will be trying to accomplish even if it takes years.
