I have a first time breeder female just lay her second clutch. She is a very calm and sweet gecko but any time I go near her lay box she comes at me with bad intentions. Anyone ever deal with this not worried about being bit but stressing her

i have heard of this before, and ffrom what i have read, i would say to just leave her be for an hour or two, and the maternal instincts may wear off. if it doesnt, you could always try luring her out with food, or just flat out remove her (at the risk of stressing her though). congrats on the eggs though!

Hmmm...I would bet she thinks one of the following: her eggs are still in there...or...you don't mess with a pregnant woman's bed (laybox)....lol
