My HM Hypo Tug Snow just laid her very first egg today. I went to get it out and put it in the incubator and it was soft and had some goo on the top. Closer inspection told me it was puntured and the goo was from the egg insides.
Anyone else ever have problems with their eggs like that? I'm thinking it was from the female maybe trying to cover the egg or something and she scratched it with a nail. The lay box is moss and hatchrite and is kept moist and haven't had a problem with any of my other females laying eggs like that.
I'm also thinking the egg will stand no chance of survival. Am I wrong?
Thanks
