Well, I've been using the ESU digital thermomemeter with a probe, and it's worked great. But now it is reading that RIGHT ABOVE the flexwatt it is 70*f. I checked it with an old "mercury" thermometer, and it says it is closer to 90 (thankfully). Obveously, those old fishtank type thermometers are never good, so I looked into a few new ones. I have heard great things about this one: http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog/reptile-supplies/thermometers-thermostats-and-timers/-/flukers-digital-thermometerhumidity-guage/ I will use that for the crestie tank (thermometer update in there as well), and am curious as to what everyone's opinoin is on this guy: http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog/reptile-supplies/thermometers-thermostats-and-timers/-/infrared-temperature-gun/ This is what I want to use to regulate the temps. in their tubs and everything. $50 for both shipped to my door, not too bad at all!
So anyone with experience with either of these products, if you could let me know how you liked them that would be great! Thanks in advance.
