I know that the breeding season is around Feb. and ends in Aug. but I've hear of people breeding gecko during the off season.

My question is: Is there something you do to make them ovulate during winter or will they do it naturally during the winter?

Please help!

I suppose it's possible that if the female didn't just finish breeding for her season at the end of the summer, if she had a cooling period and then was warmed up where the floor of the tank and the ambient air were relatively warm and was then introduced to a male, it's possible that it would stimulate ovulation. Some females just seem to have their own cycle where they ovulate at a different time than other females. I see a variation in my geckos in terms of which cool themselves and are sensitive to the season and which don't even though they're all kept in the same type of environment. I would guess that a female who's very tuned in to this season may not ovulate no matter what you do.
