Hi,
I'm getting ready for my second season with breeding geckos, so I cooled down the temps in my gecko room at the beginning of winter, but 3 of my females started ovulating early. One of them already laid her first clutch, but the other two (after 1 and a 1/2 month) is still just ovulating, without any eggs. They have been with (proven breeder) males and are refusing to eat (still in good shape) so I really hope they will lay soon. There are no eggs visible just the ovulations. What do you think how long is it ok to be ovulating for the gecko? Can this prolonged ovulation be the effect of the cooler temperature?
I'm looking forward to your answers/ideas : )

I don't cool my leopard geckos although some of them cool themselves by moving to the cool side and sleeping a lot. In my experience they ovulate for 4-6 months so if they're early and you want to breed them I guess you're early too!
