QUESTION ABOUT POOP?

I use paper towels for substrate. Does Leo poop always smell so bad or is it the pee? Is there any substrate that I can use so it will absorb the smell of the poop and pee? How often do you replace the paper towels? Thanks.:main_thumbsup:

i use paper towles where they poop but the rest is tile i change every day after i know they have both pooped

haha! sorry, leo poop smells BAD! it's pretty strong for the little guy...i'm not sure what substrate would help but DO NOT i repeat DO NOT use cedar chips or any cedar product. even though it smells good, im pretty positive it can be very harmful to leos!

All lizard poop smells terrible.
Well, it is poop afterall! :main_rolleyes:

I cut the corners off the paper towels, and put them in the corners of the
terrarium. That way, it's simple to clean up.
At least, one my my leos always uses the same corner, so thats a help

Yes, I noticed they always poop on the same corner. So I decided to put paper towels on that corner, so I can clean it up every time they go. Thanks for all your help. It still smells bad, but I am getting used to it. :main_thumbsup: All we have to go through for our Leos.
