I have linoleum in the bottom of my leos tank, it looks very cheap, but it was only $3 so thats why I have it. I was going to spray paint it the other night & my Dad stoped me & told me that it would be bad to do that because it would flake off. I told him that it wouldnt if I put a sealant on top of it. :main_rolleyes:

All I want to know is, is it ok to spray paint the bottom, put a sealant on top & to leave it for a few days before I put my leo back on it. Also what is the best sealant I should use?:huh2:

i would also leave the floor alone, think it looks good! even if you spray paint it and seal it when you go to put it back in the tank it will flake because the fke tile fleakes.

Be careful with paints and chemicals. Spray-paint and top coat do have nasty things in them and they leach those chemicals after a time. Though it may look cool, it could be very bad to your reptile who will be licking or will be in direct contact with that surface almost all the time.

even with sealer its gonna flake. the fake tile flexes and the paint wont much. I say dont do it. if you are looking for a more natural appearance, switch to slate tiles. I use them and love them.
