Question about super snow eclipses

I'm confused to why super snow eyes are always solid black but not always considered to be eclipses unless for example they have the trade mark white nose or legs? Do pure mack super snows not carry the eclipse gene on their own or is there something else going on with them that makes their eyes solid black?

The Super Snow morph has a genetic component that causes the eyes to be solid that is seperate from the eclipse gene. All super snows therefore have solid eyes. However, not all super snows are eclipse. The eclipse gene is a seperate recessive gene that causes the eye change, and is seperate from that of super snows. Mack snows do not have solid eyes unless they carry the eclipse gene because they do not have the same genetic structure as super snows.

However Snows like the Blizzard, Do also express a random eye trait for iris black out,
That is nothing to do with the Eclipse gene or the Super snow solid eye.

So this season I plan to have one mack snow poss giant het eclipse male to two mack snow het eclipse females in hopes to hatch a super snow eclipse BUT...

Even if I were to have a super snow eclipse, how would I know?
Or would I have to test breed cause that sux...

You would likly have to test breed to be 100%, But as a rule a Eclipse super snow,
Will express a white washed nose some time speading to the head.
