Waxworms are like candy to a gecko, and they are very addictive :main_laugh:

If you feed your leo too many waxworms too often, then they can refuse to eat other feeders as they will only want that waxworm. They make great occasional treats, as most leos absolutely love them, but I wouldn't feed them anymore often than once a week.

Thanks guys (quick answer btw! :) )

My little girl/boy?? deserves a treat, and I was only going to give her one
for desert (the leo equivalent of a slice of cheesecake!! :D ) since she's only 2 1/2 months old.

So I guess that means my Nephew is only partly full of sh@t!!! :p

Well, here is a bit different opinion. I feed wax worms with my meal worms and have my geckos "smart" about getting a topping on their pizza...........I feed 4 meal worms, then 1 or 2 wax worms, then 2 meal worms......... No eat crust, no get topping...........If I run out of wax, rarely will they quit eating meal worms.....and if that happens....they do when the belly growls...........This is a daily/2 day feeding schedule. Babies are on a lesser quantity but the same schedule........And all mine look Tony the Tiger GREATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT........take care HJ

We have tried HJs method and it works just fine.. we just added 1 or 2 waxies when feeding mealies, and the geckos don't stop eating any other feeders or anything.. variety is key :main_yes:
