question for heating

Hello. I have a Zilla 20 gallon critter cage. The dimensions are 30 length x 12 width. I have the zoo med heat pad for 10-20 gallons. My house stays at about 72.5 degrees Fahrenheit. The heat pad is at about 90 degrees Fahrenheit. I feel like my house is too cold for my gecko. My mom won't let me turn up the heater, so how can I heat my leopard gecko tank? I also live in GTA Ontario Canada and it's January.

ceramic heat emitter to help bring up the air temperatures, but no higher than 80*. I keep my thermostat for my house heater set at 69* and my air temps on the warm side stay at around 75-77*.

70s in the winter should be fine, really. I wouldn't say you need additional heat if the air temp in your house is 72 F.
