question regarding baby death

so... had a set of eggs they incubated the same as all others went 45 and 47 days and hatched but ... the first baby had the yolk sack still attached not just a little all of it and died promptly after hatching it's clutch mate (the gecko i have been waiting for) ripped the still full yolk sack that was attached to it and died does anyone have any idea why this would happen?

Some just aren't meant to be..


some dont get strong enough in the egg to be able to live in the real world.. its just a part of life.

In the wild incubation conditions aren't perfect so the weak ones probably wouldn't come close to hatching. With the steady temps and humidity of an incubator you'll get some that wouldn't have hatched in the wild.

oh belive me I know some are never meant to be I am wondering why they would not absorb the yolk sack
