Question regarding male leopard gecko cleaning habits

Alright, so I've got a slightly awkward inquiry. I have a male leopard gecko; King Ghidorah. I've been told male leos will occasionally clean their vent (not sure of the correct word or phrase to use ), so seeing a male leo lick his vent is normal.

Thing is, whenever I see Ghidorah do that, he makes a really odd noise, and he appears to be in discomfort, and white gunk and liquid is coming out of his vent. He does this out of the blue (not following a bathroom-break). Is this normal? It just looked really odd to me. He has been examined by various people (vet, reptile-store owner, other leo owners), all of which have looked him over and said he appears perfectly fine and healthy, and that his behaviour and vent appearance are perfectly normal. When he is not cleaning his vent, it appears normal; there is no discolouration or anything sticking out. He did have worms at one point (he was on medication for a bit); he may still have them (even though he is very fat and eats/poops regularly) so maybe that is the reason (could be causing the irritation I am seeing?). Or maybe what I'm seeing/hearing is just normal male-gecko-cleaning behaviour.

I just wanted to clear this up, because every single time I hear/see him cleaning, it just looks like something is wrong. Everyone is saying he's fine and not to worry; but I wanted to get the final verdict from here, just to be sure. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I have found that some geckos are more vocal than others. Maybe he's big and fat enough so he's grunting when he twists around to clean himself. If you think he could possibly still have worms it would be a good idea to take another fecal in to the vet to be sure.

I'm going with this here. Mine does that every time she cleans back there, which isn't really all that often, but I find it a bit humorous.
