I always take the male and put him in with the female and I also wait until she is ovulating so that she will breed with no problem and there won't be any fighting,Good Luck breeding them.

I find it better to move the females into the male tub. I usually have 3-8 females per male so it makes it easier so that I know who's paired up at all times and I don't have to hunt down the male. Also, the male's secretions are in it's own tub, it's territory is marked out. I find it that they mate sooner that way. I don't need the male to mark every females' tub.

Alright thanks, that's what i thought. One last question; how do you know when your females are ovulating?

One way to tell is that sometimes they wont eat while they're ovulating, like a hunger strike. They get moody just like women do, lol.:main_rolleyes:

The best way to check if the female is ovulating is to gently turn her over and slightly bend her backwards. This will push her follicles and/or ovules up, towards the bottom side of her. If they are follicles they will be a deep pink/red color and staggered, with the one on the left side being higher. If they are ovules and developing then they will normally level out and be white, lining the sides of her stomach. I'll see if I can find a picture to post.
