Recently lost my 2ish year old Leo to shed choking :(

So I'm left with a full Leo set slate tiles, under heat pad, thermostat, dishes and wet & dry hides. Undecided if I want another Leo or a different reptile. What other Reps would be happy in the current setup or similar?

I live in the North West and sustaining the temps for a baby Beardie is a bit much given the current house set up. Humidity shouldn't be much of an issue other then changing the wire top for something more solid.

I might be missing something but the "fat tails" don't look much different from a healthy Leo with a slightly shorter tail. I have seen a couple Pics of ones that look like they had an unusually shaped tail. Those pretty much look like a leo that had his tail plucked as a baby and regrew a stubby.

I am investigating pictus (panther) geckos and they seem to need similar care to leopard geckos but more humidity.
