Hello everyone!

I have had several leopard geckos in the past and now I think I'm ready to move to the next step. I'm building a rack system and am looking for geckos to start breeding. Does anyone have any suggestions for good starter morphs. I'm looking for one male and two females. Tangerines interest me right now so any complimentary morphs would be perfect. Thanks in advance!

I would start with morphs that you could do something with on your first season. I would start basic, if you are interested in Tangerines, that would be a perfect place to start. I have met quite a few new breeders that think they could buy two of the hottest Leopard Gecko out right now, pair them together and think they can rake it in, which is rarely the case.

When you are getting into breeding, it is very important to know what animals you have in your collection. Make sure you buy your animals from a reputable breeder, and make sure you know your animals genetics. Speaking of genetics, how familiar are you with leopard gecko genetics? That is a very important place to start if you are serious about breeding.
