Questions about my new geckos

Long story short, I received two geckos today that were shipped to me very poorly and I'm not happy. I posted in Faunaclassifieds BOI about it. I just want to figure out a few things here about them.
First issue. The two geckos were almost frozen when I received them due to insufficient insulation and heat packs. They are all warmed up and seem fine. Does anyone think there might be future issues (respiratory, etc) that should be worried about?
Next issue. I purchased two of them and was given little to no information on their age. I was told one was a year old. She is a Blood Hypo and is 57g. Personally I think this is too small for a year old gecko. What do you guys think? The next one is a male super snow eclipse and is likely around a year as well. He is 35g. He is on the leaner side, but he doesn't look sickly or too thin. His tail isn't skinny. This has to be way too small though. Am I wrong?
Last issue. The super snow eclipse came to me with a bump on his nose. Never seen anything like it:

Thanks.

Have you contacted the seller about these issues?

I would get fecals done for all of them if you keep them (vs. return & refund). If the tails aren't skinny I don't think it'd be parasites, but I guess just covering the basics is probably a good idea.

That bump does look particularly worrisome. Not sure what would cause it. Hopefully not a tumor or something. Is it hard?

For the female, 57 grams is not too small for a year old. Does she look underweight? As for the male, I would say that 35 grams is very small for a year old. And the bump on his nose would worry me as well. I don't see a full body photo, but I don't like the looks of the photo you did post.

You say they arrived "too cold". How cold were they?

It was 30 degrees out when they arrived, so they were very cold. This person who shipped them did not put any thought into the packaging and there was not much for insulation. I've gotten better insulated reptiles in the summer. I took their body temps after about 45 min and they were 60 degrees F.
I did contact the seller. I sent two emails and havent heard back from him.
Here are the pictures of them today, sorry about the blurry ones. The lighting was bad so the shutter speed was slow:

Poor babies, on Ship Your Reptiles it says not to ship if it's below 38 F at either location this is their guidelines:

Reptiles
Below 38°F: Don’t ship. Wait for warmer weather.

38-70°F: Use a heat pack per our directions.

70-92°F: No heat pack required.

92-100°F: Ship to a "Fedex staffed" facility (NOT a FedEx Office, Pak Mail, Mail Boxes Etc. or other satellite/franchise location). Your shipment will arrive early in the morning and be kept inside until the recepient picks it up. Search for a Fedex staffed facility near you. Read the IMPORTANT NOTE below.*

Over 100°F: Don’t ship. Wait for cooler weather.

So... they shouldn't of been shipped. They look cold, even in the pictures :(. As for the nose I don't have any good advice, other than go to a vet, sorry

I thought no one would ship their geckos in this weather unless it was like in a really warm climate. I know a bunch of gecko pages on Facebook I've liked set deadlines for the latest dates they'll ship, and they've all passed. The fact that he was willing to was the first bad sign. Guess I know now not to deal with him. I hope that lump isn't serious though. =/

Ugh, I'm so sorry you went through this. :(

I agree with seeing the vet about the lump. Is it possible it's a feeder insect bite (i.e. cricket)?

I'm sorry things didn't go well with the shipping. I got a day gecko one year in March that was shipped USPS 2nd day air and was another day late. When I got her it was 14 degrees out and she was in a cold coma. She revived and I still have her nearly 7 years later, so it's likely there will be no lasting effects. I agree that 57 grams is reasonable for a year old gecko. I got a 6 month old and an 11 month old at different times from different reputable breeders who were around 28 grams. Today they are 6 and 9 years old and weigh 80-100 grams. Good luck with them; they should do fine with proper care.

Thanks for the responses. I knew it was too cold to ship, but I guess I trusted him so I'm just as mad as myself. The part of this that I'm angry about is that he is not responding to my emails. He has no intention of rectifying the situation. He never inquired if the geckos were dead or alive which shows how little he cares about them. So I'm worried about what kind of conditions they were kept before I got them. The male had a solid poop which is a good sign. The female has just been hiding. I sent the breeder another email tonight letting him know that he doesn't give a crap about his animals since he hasn't even asked if they are okay.

At least some of us know now not to deal with him. Too bad we can't tell everyone. ;) I guess it's possible that something happened that he can't check his emails like his power is out or his grandmother died or something, but given that he shipped in such cold weather, it's more likely he just doesn't care.

Glad i saw this. I was considering ordering some geckos from him. Even if the temps were up I wouldn't order from him because his attitude about the situation.

I did get an email today. He says he was out of town, but his emails go to his phone so he must have been in the middle of nowhere. He is not going to refund anything because I apparently paid "Wholesale" prices and was not there to sign. I don't recall in his emails where he told me this. He said they sat on my front porch too long (15 min). Does signing for them make up for the ****** packaging? Would they have been less cold 15 min earlier? I dont think so. He also said we should not do business together anymore. Oh really. Like I wanted to anyway.
On a positive note, the male is eating. The female is still super scared.

SIGH. -____- I'm really curious about the bump. Has he seen a vet or will he?

I'm wondering if maybe the bump is a bug bite? Cricket? I have no idea, wish I could be more help.. The ONLY good outcome of the whole situation it sounds like is that they have the proper care now and someone who ACTUALLY cares for them! In a way, you probably saved them..

He never said anything about the bump on the nose.
I have a post in the business inquires section with specific information related to this.
As for the bump, it isn't infected and does not appear to affect him. It might just be a fleshy thing. I forgot to add that the female also has extra skin under her arm. Most good breeders will say something about this as well.

By "extra skin," do you mean, like, a skin tag or fat deposits of what? Sorry, I'm just really curious about all of this.

Like a bubble. Fat deposit I think. I purchased another one like this but was told about it before. I see other breeders who mention it as well.

I've heard that those can be caused by temps being too cold for long periods of time (cool temps = decreased metabolism = increased fat buildup) and/or too small enclosures. I obviously don't know if it's true or not, but I'm curious to see if they'll go away now that you have them.
