Quick Help With Breeding

Hi Guys,
just a quick question, im thinking of ending my winter season soon and start breeding.

I have a 1 male and 1 female they live with each other 24/7 happily, they will both be first timers.

A lot of breeders have males and females seperate and introduce them for breeding.

The question that i have is that 'will i have to do anything different, to get them to start breeding?? or will they just start, when i raise the temp. and my female starts to ovulate??

Thanks

They will probably just start. I keep my males and females together during breeding season and try to separate them for a few months in between, but the separation this season was very short because I didn't have enough space. My male that lives all the time with a female has gotten interested, so it will happen even if they've been together.

I personally keep my males and females serperated. I have my male and two females together right now. They have been together for about 15 days now and I can see that both my female are starting to get a little chubby. In about 5 more days I am going to put my male in with my new female. I leave him in the females tubs for 20 days. So we shall see. I hope that helps. Many people do it different and have success. I am no pro at this but its what has worked for me. Good luck!!!
