Ok so im cleaning out my mealworm container, because im trying to breed my own. So im separating the mealworms and beetles, I put the beetles in their bin with fresh rolled oats, right?
My parents think that im supposed to sift out all the mealworms and put them into their own new bin with fresh oatmeal. Right now the mealworms are too small to even sift through (can barely even see them) , and they are trying to make me give them fresh oatmeal. What im trying to tell them (from what ive read) is that the old oatmeal is nutricious for the young growing mealworms, and that there may be eggs that havent hatched yet. Their trying to make me throw it out.
Who's correct in this situation.
