I recently (yesterday) got my first Leo and I have some questions about my cite little guy.

First of all, he lives in a 10 gallon tank with a UTH, digital thermometer, a warm hide & cood hide (also the humid hide), a plant for decoration, small water dish, and a mealworm food bowl. Now for the questions:

1.) How do I clean out the poop when it's stained on his hide? He hasn't quite decided where he wants to have his poop spot and it's getting all over his decor and reptile carpet (zoo med) and it smells really bad. Even after I clean the carpet and hide.

2.) I feed him mealworms but he hasn't eaten yet ,which I understand, but you dust them with the calcium with the d3 and leave a bowl of calcium w/out the d3 right? And I feed the mealworms oatmeal (uncooked) and apples (since I couldn't get carrots)

Thanks! [emoji4]

Welcome to GF:
1. Go to a place like Home Depot and get a 4 1/4" square bathroom tile (the kind they put on bathroom walls). Pick the most likely corner and install the tile there. Pick up the poops and put them on the tile and leave them for a few days. Hopefully, he'll get the idea. If not, you're kind of out of luck. To clean carpet: have a second carpet piece. Every week or so, swap carpets. Take the dirty one, wash it in the sink with liquid soap, put it in the spin dry cycle of your washer and then let it drip dry. When he gets bigger, he'll probably be happier in a 20 gallon long. At that time, consider ceramic tile which is much easier to clean

2. Mealworms are fine. To make things easier for yourself, pulverize the oats in a blender so you can more easily sift the mealworms out of the gut load. You have the supplement idea correct, though there is more than one way to do it.
