Hey everyone, just a little update. I've had my crested gecko Quinn for almost a month now, and I couldn't be happier. The little fella is still very shy, but is slowly getting used to me. I just recently started taking him out on a daily basis. He looks great and is quite active every night.
My question is this. I'm worried he may be a little calcium deficient. He hasn't been sticking to the glass walls of the tank for a while, almost two weeks I believe. I know this is sometimes a result of the shedding process, but I have also heard it's an early sign of calcium deficiency. This is my first crested gecko so needless to say I'm very nervous. My tokays have had the same problem in the past, and they were fine in a few days. I just want to know if there's anything I can do to help with this issue? I hand feed him every night with a small amount of CGD and leave a small dish of it in the tank overnight, so I don't know why he wouldn't be getting enough calcium, I just want to make sure I'm prepared in case that is what's going on.
Anyway, here are a couple pictures that were taken yesterday. Enjoy
