I was just curious as to what your tub setup for hatchlings/juvenilles/adults or pairs is... Thanks in advance. Be sure to specify the qts of the tub. Thanks :D

For my adults, I use 32-qt Sterilite containers. I try to house 1, but put up to 4 in one. For hatchlings, and juveniles, I use vision hatchling tubs. I have no idea what size in quarts they are, but the inside of them measure 16" x 6" and are 3.5” High. This allows me to grow a gecko out pretty big in one. I think this makes things simple, because this way I don't have to have any juvenile tubs.

For my breeder set-ups I use a moist hide, a bowl for calcium, a bowl for water, and I use to use a bowl for mealworms, however at this time, I’m using crickets as my feeders. Then I use newspaper as a substance. And all geckos have belly heat, supplied by heat cable.

I'll get you a pic of my breeder set-ups, as well as my cage, for my pet leopard gecko. Then I’ll post them for you.

Okay here is my breeder set-up

cage002.jpg

I use three bowls, one for calcium, one for water, and one to hold food for the crickets. The bowl that holds food for crickets, use to hold mealworms, but since those are out now. I just have to use crickets, and this way they can gut-load even after I have put them in the cage. The moist hide, is a glad oven-wear for something like that, container. I put Buss Bed-ding in the container, for to make it a moist hide. This stuff is great, it holds moister for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time. Then for the substance, just two pieces of newspaper, laid side-by-side. Then all the enclosures are heated from below, with a heat cable.

Hope that answers your question.

I haven't been using any newspaper or paper towels for the adults, but I have paper towel in for the hatchlings. I have a moist hide plus a food and water dish. I just put extra calcium in the food dish since they always tipped over the calcium. I use the 12qt iris tubs for adults and the smaller size for hatchlings.
