I have personally tried to house my animals, in a rack like that. After I had them in there for about 2 days I invested in a vision rack. Basically you can do that, but the rack will suck to high heaven. I probably wasted $400, trying to be cheap, with those, so, yeah, I considered them, but don't try them. Build on out of wood, or buy one. Just my thoughts.

i see. Anyone know a good link for some really cheap boxes to go in the rack?

How much do they run?

ya...I like those racks. But they do not come with a thermostat...What am i looking at as far as prices goes for a safe and good one?

I feel like I could build that Rack for under 30 bucks and buy a set of 12 tubs for like 15 bucks.

You can also use old wooden dressers for a rack-just remove the drawers and make sure that there is enough ventilation so that there is no overheating

That is what i have done with 2 dressers from the 1950's and they house 18 sweater boxes together

You can always pick up unwanted furniture at yard sales for next to nothing if you don't have the cash to put out on a pre-made rack or the ability (me) to build one

hope this helps

Sandy

PS-I am looking for pics of my herp room
I'll take new ones of the dresser racks if I can't find the old ones
