I just love the racks!!!! I really wanna make one for my leos(my growing number of leos lol) I just cant make up my mind on how to heat them.. Ive seen the heat cables at pet stores and thought about buying a couple and a light dimmer for them. Would this work? It seems easier then going online and trying to find the heat tape and everything that way. how long id need, how many ending cords id need, ect.. lol idk yet thats why i keep putting it off

Actually that's what I'll be using for my tanks. I actually bought one (heat cable) because the pet store was out of heat pads when I bought my girls and it actually worked great! They get super hot though. I by mistake used the huge cable thinking it wouldn't get hot enough but it seems it'll be sufficent enough to heat up a whole rack or maybe just buy one more.

This is what I'll be doing I was going to do the heat tape thing but this seems to work fine.
