Rainwater Morphs?

I'm totally new to the breeding and morph side of leopard geckos so apologies if these are ll very obvious newbie questions.

I have a male rainwater het eclipse. He is currently my only leo and I plan on waiting a few months before I get two females for the 2016 breeding season.

So far I know i'm only going to breed rain water albinos, the question is, what other genes would be realistic to shoot for? I would like to get one female that does display eclipse, but I know I can go for more. Ideally I'd like to do some easier morph breeding, so dominant genes would be ideal.

I'm thinking of getting maybe some kind of snow, white and yellow, or maybe something else? My knowledge is fairly limited and I would like to know what options I have.

As you know, the female you get will have to be a rainwater or het rainwater (unless you choose to breed to a non-rainwater and then breed the offspring back to the father in the next generation). Other options could include getting a nice tangerine rainwater (or het) to get some color into your offspring, or going with Mack snow. If you get white and yellow, be sure you're getting one from a reputable person that really has white and yellow. I don't know, much about them, but I'm under the impression that the quality here in the US varies greatly.

Yes, there are plentiful animals mislabeled as WY. So those will be hit and miss. Highwoods Exotics works with WY rainwaters and should have plenty available this year.

I, personally, will have decent rainwater offspring, or het at the very least. I have both eclipse, murphy's patternless and enigma in my rainwater group. I also have two pure Firewater females that just started producing. So hoping for decent production from them this year, as well.

One of the Firewater gals. They're absolutely phenomenal in person.

Good to know about the WY! I never knew that before. You guys potentially saved me a lot of pain in the future.

You definitely have a lot of options depending on the look you want. Typhoons (rainwater eclipse), firewaters, raining redstripes, rainwater w/y combos, snow rainwaters, etc. Once you know the look you want to achieve, you should be able to choose the best females.
