This eye mutation randomly popped-up in my collection from breeding back one E.m.fasciolatus outcross to my wild caught E.m.fasciolatus.

Eclipse gene like spontaneously popped-up in R. Trempers collection?

There's definitely no Tremper blood in my collection.

Any ideas?

Well that is a very beautiful gecko. I would suggest keeping tack on the eye to ensure it doesn't fade out or anything. Also did any other offspring have the same thing? If it does stay and you want to try to prove it genetic then set up a breeding project to do so...AKA back to mom or dad depending if that's a male or female.

I have one that popped out of a tang. to another tang. two years ago, and no tremper anything was involved. I will post pics of him later on. He actually ended up staying with us because of his unique color compared to his parents. He has more lavender and just an overall subdued look to him. I have a female non-het eclipse that I am breeding him to this year to see if it makes something very interesting.
