RAPTOR eyes changing from snake eye to full red?

i hatched out 2 RAPTORs from hets (well one is a red eyed reverse stripe)

the RAPTOR had red eyes which changed to snake eyes (70% and 50%)which i thought might happen but i just checked and now they are back to full red eyes...is this possible or was i just being blind when i checked and saw the snake eyes?

full red eyed is far better IMHO.

I have had two hatchlings do this very thing this year. Both hatched with solid red eyes that faded to snake-eyes, and then turned back to full red. Very strange. The raptor and eclipse eyes are quite a puzzle.

ok cool, so its not me going blind lol! cool to know that they can do that though! means keeping a baby for a while before advertising it for sale to know its not gonna develop red eyes again hey means ill keep my RAPTOR rather than my RERS now. i love the stripe but only need one male lol
