RAPTOR question?

Recently purchased a banded RAPTOR. But upon examining her I noticed that the had mainly the albino eyes with the partial snake eyes. My question is, would she still be considered a RAPTOR with the eclipse only being partial or would she just be considered a albino paternless (banded) with the possibilty of being het for RAPTOR? I know that her sire was a Super Giant RAPTOR from one of Ron Tremper's line and I believe the female may have been as well. Thanks for the answers to come.

It's my understanding that the eclipse can manifest itself as full red eyes or snake eyes. Personally I would call a gecko with snake eyes a Raptor, since the "R" stands for "ruby" and part of the snake eye is ruby. Although the term "banded raptor" is now used pretty commonly (and as a descriptive linguist I feel that you can't fight common usage), it's not a term I will ever use because I feel it negates the "P" ("Patternless") of Raptor. However, given what everyone else does, I guess you're not wrong to use it.

Thanks Aliza!!! Was something I always questioned but never asked. I also understand what you mean as the linguistics go on the so called, "banded RAPTOR." Would a better acronym be more politically correct to call a banded RAPTOR a RABTOR? lol
