At a recent expo, I was talking with a breeder about the Raptor. He told me that the expression of the parents dosen't really reflect the expression of the offspring. Basically saying snake eyed parents can give solid eyed off spring and solid eyed parents may throw out snake eyed babies. Can someone with raptor breeding experience post there results, Thanks

You are asking about Eclipse more so than Raptors. Yes that is true that snake eyes can produce solid and solid can produce snake eyes. We have had babies from eclipse pairings which show virtually no pigment in the eyes.

Solid eyed eclipses tend to throw more solid eye or greater % than do low % eclipse eyes.
